Strategic Dimensions
Business strategy is a multi-dimensional exercise.
Strategic Dimensions: Differentiation • Market Segmentation • Value Chain • Marketing Channel • Customer Relationships • Revenue Model • Pricing • People • Technology • Partnership • Organizational Structure • Business Process • Finance • Political Advocacy
Purpose
Business strategy is a multi-dimensional exercise. It’s not enough to evaluate competitive advantage among business adversaries or to only compare value chain components with lifecycle evolution. Strategy requires making plans, seeing risks, and exploring opportunities across many dimensions.
Notes
For developing a business strategy, a good point to start is a Business Model Canvas, possibly combined with Wardley Mapping.
Rules / Constraints
We have not (yet) defined rules or constraints.
“Strategy requires thought, tactics require observation.”
