Goal-Setting Aspects: Self-DirectSelf-AlignPeer-CommitSelf-MonitorSelf-ReviewPeer-Reward

Purpose

Goal-setting in organizations usually only happens when there is a dedicated process for it. The unFIX model defines six separate patterns for this process. Each of these aspects can have its own approach and its own rhythm.

Notes

Most teams will need most of the six patterns in this set.

The six patterns of the Goal-Setting Aspects are inspired by the Direction, Alignment, Commitment model (DAC) and the Four Stages of Performance Management (Plan, Monitor, Review, Reward), but with an emphasis on self-management and peer feedback.

Rules / Constraints

  • We have not (yet) defined rules or constraints.
