Purpose
Taking matters into your own hands can be a game-changer. Provide team members access to crucial systems, allowing them to make changes through pull requests. Repository owners can then review and approve these changes, streamlining the process. If possible, offer people the possibility to handle tasks themselves or to collaborate directly with the responsible party. By proactively driving the resolution of dependencies, you expedite the workflow and strengthen cross-team collaboration.
Notes
Dependencies are not necessarily bad. Actually, there are many good reasons for people to depend on each other. But you have a problem when those dependencies result in value that is not able to flow.
