Purpose

As the calendar ebbs and flows, businesses often find opportunities and challenges pegged to specific dates or seasons. Recognizing this, Seasonal Forums (guilds or Communities of Practice) have been established. These platforms are arenas where professionals unite to brainstorm, share insights, and strategize for particular times of the year. Within a larger enterprise, many Crews come into play. These Forums foster cross-team collaboration, weaving a cohesive strategy tapestry.

What's remarkable about Seasonal Forums is their customizable nature. Depending on business needs, they can zero in on any time of the year, be it broad seasons like summer or winter, or specific celebratory dates like Christmas or Easter. By pooling collective wisdom, these Forums empower businesses to maximize opportunities and address challenges inherent to each season, ensuring year-round relevance and success.

Notes

You can set up a Seasonal Forum for any part of the year or for specific dates, such as Christmas, summer, winter, Easter, and so forth. You may need a Chair for each Forum, but this role does not include people management.

Rules / Constraints

  • The Forum exists only for discussions and decision-making.

  • The Forum participants do most of their work on Crews, not on Forums.

  • Nobody on a Forum is the manager of all Forum members.
