Fixed

Time Commitment

The team member has a long-term commitment to the Crew or Forum and dedicates a constant amount of time to it on a regular basis.

Purpose

In some contexts, a person is able to contribute with a fixed amount of time per week and for an unlimited period. Some people see this as the ideal situation, and it is the default time commitment pattern that is assumed (often without mentioning it) in many situations.

Notes

An example of this pattern could be a software engineer working full-time on a Steady Team for a long period of time, with little or no variety on a weekly basis. And a housekeeper who works only on Friday mornings, with an unlimited contract, would also fall into this category.

Rules / Constraints

  • This pattern can be combined with other patterns in many ways. We have not yet identified any limiting constraints.
