We’re reorganizing our team

Author: J-P Ouwerkerk

Jurgen mentioned in his last blog post that we are implementing changes at The unFIX Company.

We had great success this year: almost 100 partners/community+ members, a great unFIXcon in Berlin, and new offerings like Ignition, E-learning, and Cohorts. And still, we want to do more. Not by scaling up but by scaling out!

Like the company Haier, one of our favorite sources of inspiration, we believe in micro-enterprises where people have maximum autonomy within clear boundaries. In 2024, we will focus even more on creating internal and external Joint Ventures (we described this in more detail on this webpage). Besides that, we will try to keep the “supporting” function as small as possible. Therefore, we are changing how we worked in the last 1,5 years.

The second reason for the organizational change is that Jurgen wants to put all his time and effort into making unFIX even better and easier to use and use his network to reach more people worldwide with the unFIX pattern library.

As of the 1st of January, J-P will take on the role of “CEO” (Chief Ecosystem Officer), Jens will be “COO” (Chief Outcome Officer), and Jurgen will be “CMO” (Chief Model/Marketing Officer). With this small team, we will be the hub for the “rest of the world,” including our Joint Ventures, who will get any support (and boundaries) they need. Again, this is all inspired by Haier, whose Industry and Platform leaders are not bosses; instead, they facilitate new business ideas and encourage the network to collaborate and co-create.

The other three members of our (former) core team also take up different roles. Mavi will take on the role of captain of the (internal) Joint Venture E-Learning. Kadri is already leading the Partnership/Membership Joint Venture. And Tina will support any marketing and content initiatives where needed.

We are fully equipped for the new year and welcome any ideas for experimentation. If you have fresh ideas to take maximum advantage of the unFIX model and help us grow this brand, reach out, and we will explore the possibilities!
